KISS THE GROUND WITH ANNA GETTY

Now, more than ever, Careste stands by the importance of conscious, purposeful living. This season, we partner with Anna Getty, founder of Amalgam Kitchen and executive producer of Kiss the Ground, a film collaboration with the nonprofit organization of the same name that highlights the importance of regenerating and stabilizing the earth and its climate.

Getty and her daughter India also lent their hand to Careste’s Sorocco Collection. The India is a chic smoking shirt jacket with topstitching and patch pockets, available in luxurious double silk georgette or crisp cotton poplin.

"Sustainability and being mindful of one's own footprint on the planet is something that has been close to my heart for a long time,” Getty says, citing Careste’s use of natural fabrics, zero inventory model, and grounded approach to luxury as her reason for the collaboration. India is a young designer in her own right whose orientation is elegance and comfort.

Take a behind the scenes peek at our day with Anna and India, aided by stylist Erin Walsh and her husband, photographer Christian Hogstedt, at their home in Ojai, wearing The India and more new, sustainably-made styles from Careste. Shop The India as part of Careste’s Cornerstone Collection, which donates a portion of proceeds to charitable causes. (The India, naturally, will benefit Kiss the Ground.)
